Super Nintendo is harder to get the graphics from.

Unless you have an emulator.

I'm inclined to stick with the SNES graphics.

SNES colors are better, but you could always change the darkness on the GBA version to match those of the SNES one.

On the file select screen, it'll say "Options" in the corner.  Press "Right" on the D-Pad, and change the brightness to "Dark"

I am talking about the emulators, I get my tiles from the Read Only Memory's.

Lttp in my opinion that was the second best zelda game(only beaten by majora's mask). :D
I never played lttp on the gameboy, but I know from experience the games seem more fun on a bigger screen.
As for graphics. Super Nintendo hands down just because I like the bigger screen.

Super Nintendo graphics are old and most tiles have problems with them, while the Game Boy Advance tiles are a lot cleaner and more solid. I still want to know how can I set the luminosity.

only reason for bright GBA LttP colours is that they wanted to compensate for the "hard-to-see-screen"..pssh I never had a problem with it.

The SNES colours look more natural to me.

AleX, the graphics are the same there...

It's only the screen resolution that's different.  The LttP resolution is higher than the 240x160 that the GBA has to work with.

No, the graphics are not the same, look at the colors.

*sigh* that's the whole point of this debate:  the colors.

The actual tiles are not changed.  Only the brightness.

Master J was claiming that the GBA tiles fixed issues that the SNES ones had, when from what I can tell they're exactly the same.  They may be different in the way they're stored in the ROM, but I wouldn't know about that.

Personally, I would recommend SNES just for the more classic look.  As for getting tiles, you can always use Hyrule Magic to get full maps of every area, and you can also visit www.speedsurf.to/zeldamt for Devis0r's site where he took those maps and tiled them.

Yea but SNES looks a bit like crap since it???s old, I think I need to stay with GBA since the tiles are easier to rip.

Hehe as I thought, no actual difference but the colour, and I like how lttp is coloured.

Yet when playing it on my snes + a tv the graphics don't look that different when compaired with the GBA, but I guess its because A TV gives off light unlike the GBA.

There is no difference in quality or color, merely in brightness.

I believe that LTTP and the GBA have the same quality of graphics, simpy the pallette is brightened.

i voted for snes:

1. brightness like the game "should be"
2. gameplay - you dont hold a lttle mini button in the hands and stares onto a small screen... the gameplay on snes is better ( dont know what really the difference is, but there is )
3. snes has one more flight point to the death mountain cave... the gba has not ( i wondered as i played the gba version
4. i dont really care about a lame 4 swords dungeon (with an impossible architecture ) and one new attack ( which only can made when the player has won in multiplayer and got 10 coins... >_> )

The brightening in the GBA version compromises form of extending objects by homogenising the contrast across all visual components, especially causing conflict with the huds previously unique and specific emphasis. This is bad! However it was in conversion to a small screen (though that furthers my confusion in the invariance between hud and background).

Honestly some of you guys are blind the graphics are the same its just different size. The GBA tiles are the SNES tiles unedited well leave out resizing. The sprite is the same including everything else. Now the SNES has better gameplay, better brightness, more power than the GBA and who gives a dam about the 4 swords dungeon when people barley got 3 other friends to be FS?

SNES has to win.

...

Are you listening at all? The SNES and the GBA tiles are "the same", the GBA, is brighter only for one reason, since the GBA was always known to have a darker screen, Nintendo, decided to brighten up the graphics. So, if you relized, every game released "after" ALttP, has brighter colors.

There is no quality, newer, etc. that you are mentioning. <.< Use your head, and your eyes please.  :P
