Also no BB, hes putting them on ;) Watch CSI: Miami and you should get the joke.
CSI: Miami usually starts with the crime scene then this guy says something like "I'm gonna get the criminal" followed by him looking away and putting on his glasses, then the beginning song starts. "YEEEEAAAHHHH!"

A few people pointed this out. This is probably for comedic purposes. Or perhaps the artist couldn't draw eyes :P

It's because David Caruso always says a really typical sort of "I'll be back" kind of line and then puts on some shades, and then the CSI theme starts and you just sort hear "YEEAAAAH"... But in this case, he was already wearing the shades, so he put on another pair. The original version of this comic is playing on that.
