This guy is a genius! he did more crazy !@#$% with the Wii!
-
Holy crap! I hope developers actually use this- it'd be crazy!
Imagine Metroid Prime 3 with those things! Or maybe the dodging balls game in Wii Fit. Either way, this guy's a !@#$% genious, and deserves a hell of a lot of money.
-
You know, I've watched it loads of times, and I still dunno how the !@#$% it works. Either way, if developers use this. <3 I'm getting a wii.
-
=/ This is what we will see next generation... Nintendo wouldn't add it onto the Wii right now, they'd wait so people have a reason to buy their next console. Either way, pretty awesome although how collisions would work in that is still confusing the crap out of me.... your character may stop moving but you don't...
-
dude awesome!!! this would be some awesome :)
-
Dude, that's so god damn awesome.
-
I've seen this before. It's pretty cool.
-
holy !@#$%, i didnt expect it to work THAT well O_O
i like it >:D
-
This guy has found such awesome stuff to do with the remote
Everything he does is so incredibly simple too.
I'm going to see if I can get it to work once I get my sisters bluetooth thing :)
-
That guys rocks. He's also the guy who designed the $14 steadycam (http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~johnny/steadycam/) [/video nerd]
But yeah, I want to see some shooters with that!

Its actually very simple, the position and scale of the targets are offset based on the position of the users eyes. Unfortunatly it practicle terms I can't really see a huge amount of uses for it that wouldn't horribly overcomplicate both the coding and playing of a game.
-
Holy !@#$%, this guy is awesome.
This is the guy that did the finger Wii thing
I love this guy.
-
Wow! Could you imagine playing a Zelda game with that? You could easily get a workout while fighting Gannon!
-
Its neat, but I don't see how its practical... Sorry, but I highly doubt a developer is going to use it (at least in the same fashion he did in the video)... if Ninty were to implement something like this, I'm sure they'd make a full head unit with screens much like the Virtual Boy was

If it were me, I wouldn't want to where a full helmet. (I probably would if it was made like that and if it was even made, but that's besides the point) This thing is amazing and I would deffinately try it if i knew how. If Nintendo did this with their next console, I'd hope it wouldn't be like the way the guy in the video was doing it by moving around everywhere, (unless he did that just to show how it worked.)
And last thing, :P if this were all to happen on Nintendo's next console, they better make it so you don't look around with the with the Wii Remote as the eyes. If it were an FPS/FPA the Wii Remote would just aim to where you're looking obviously.
