I was looking over a few forums, and I found some sheets of original Pokemon people had created and posted, and I think a lot of them actually looked really quite cool. I'd just like to post a few of the ones that impressed me...

They are alright. The first one you linked to has good starters but not all the rest fit the style, the second one is near perfect and has really good variation (the Pokemon that look to be inspired by Chinese mythology and land, air, and sea deities are my favorite), and the third one reminds me of that Pokemon style game a long time ago that had robots instead of creatures as well as being reminiscent of Digimon.

I feel like most of them would be better Digimon than Pokemon.
They all look really cool none the less.

Well I liked the second one too, but actually I couldn't really tell what a lot of the Pokemon represented... they were just weird things, and to be honest a lot of them kind of freaked me out O_o.

I agree with FP here; They're neat, but :( Some of them look mega cheesy and uncute like the originals

The 3rd one isn't custom, its from Denjuu Telefang.
This game was the one that was hacked and released as Pokemon Diamond and Jade.

I don't think any of the sets are perfect, but there are some amazing ones individually. And those real life pokemon are cool, except beedrill. Thats creepy.

I remember making up an Digimon once. Cutesamon>Crushermon>Tummorphomon>Metaltummorphomon>Neotummorphomon.
Even drew 'em out. Still those are cool.

The second link (neoriceisgood) looks amazing. The first sheet is rather unprofessional-looking, and the third doesn't look like pokemon at all. I want to emphasise how much I like that second sheet though; I'd love if that guy made a Pokemon fan game with all original creatures. That would be so cool.

hmm actually the one who made the second one UPDATED it and named his pokemon Ricemon, some are new some are old:

Some are better, some are deleted =( but still I love the new ones.
