Sigh, another one.
Just shows how cold some humans (I'm looking at you 4channers >_>) can be to encourage someone to do that.
-
Yeah I actually read about this earlier.
Wasn't really that "gruesome" though.
Also nb4 4chan !@#$% here "BAW 4CHAN NOT FAULT".
-
BAW 4CHAN NOT FAULT!
Anyway,
I am sure a lot of /b/tards were in the live feed but I am also sure non 4Chaners were there and most thought he was just kidding around to get viewers.
I guess it's a way to get everyone to know you're dead.
I don't feel bad for him tho, I don't like people that kill themselves.
-
A shame, really... could have been a lot more gruesome I guess. Still sad nonetheless.
-
There was a story on Digg recently about a man who committed suicide by securing a chainsaw to a table leg, turning it on, and then falling on it with his neck. He even did it to protest his housing situation. Meh.
The story you linked to is kind of sad in that people can be that heartless or fail to recognize the severity of their actions.
-
Why must people be so heartless? Encouraging someone to commit suicide is not on >_>
-
Gee, what is up with him O_o, doing it live? that takes it to a whole new level...
Seems like he doesn't have good parents...

I'm more concerned with the people encouraging him to do it. Something is seriously wrong physiologically there.
Seems like he doesn't have good parents...
Dam, I hate when people use that as an excuse; "I commited murder; It was my parents fault" >_>. Nobody forces you to take the pills, thats your own decision.
-
What the HELL?! I feel incredibly sorry for those who watched that !@#$%, thinking it was a joke. What a terrible thing, watching someone die.

I meant that the parents could have helped him. Not that it is their fault.

Reports say that some of viewers who logged in to watch began to encourage the teenager to commit suicide, others tried to dissuade him.
How could you feel sorry for the people watching? Some of them were encouraging him, and others didn't even try doing anything to stop him >_>

cool

But still:
The boy's sister said: "They got hits, they got viewers, nothing happened for hours."
the ones who were trying to do something about it took so long to act.

Yeah, I feel sorry for those bastards too.

cool
Not cool, seriously when I was in middle school my friend committed suicide, and his parents weren't to blame in fact they nearly had him admitted to a psyche ward because they were worried about him, but he shot himself before they had the chance. I find it rather unfortunate that he found the need to end his life in such a way. I also believe that the people who watched are partly to blame for this. Egging someone on when they threaten to kill themselves is serious, I feel that that could be considered murder.
-
cool
WTF man? Get out of this thread, seriously.
-
Well although I find it stupid that people encouraged him. I do not find it strange or crazy that they did. There have been a lot attention whores on the internet claiming that they will kill themselves. And most of them didn't do it but just hoped for a lot reactions. And those people that encouraged him probably thought he would never do it. And I can imagine that some people want to blame those people for making him committing suicide. But that's simply not the truth! This guy already had serious plans to do it he just wanted people to see him die.
