So at 1am today I decided to go to Pizza Pizza and get a Poutine.
I ordered and then gave them my money.
When I got my receipt back it said I gave them $753 for the Poutine and I got $750 back.
It's pretty funny.

Can't quite say I get what's so epic about it personally; you basically gave them a wad of money to show off that you had it and they gave you that wad of money back and kept $3? >_>;;

I've done that by accident at my old job at Food Lion before, like entered $1000 or something when I was supposed to hit $10. :P

It's not really that amazing that you have to digg it. I mean if others found it epic and put it on digg, that's cool, but the fact that you have to digg it yourself... >_>.

They wouldn't take $753, they would just take a $10 or $20 from it.

yet, I don't quite see the big deal. When I worked at Subway I once accidentally typed in $1000 instead of $10. But it doesn't actually matter at all.

When I worked at sainsburys a while back. I but in quantity 100 for some nicotine patch things, ended up as something like £1k.

A friend of mine tried to buy popcorn with a £50 note (~$75-100US) at the beginning of the working day for the cinema... the girl was like "Are you actually surprised that we have no change?"

Nah; I've had fries before... And gravy... and a few other thingys. Love em all. Don't want them mixed.

$3 for that? Ahmed's kebab van by college charges... £2.20? Something like that. I normally just go with chips'n'cheese with salt and vinegar and ketchup (which is only £1.70). Had one of those for my dinner tonight... laden with tabasco.
Soooo~... in the UK it's like $1 (Canadian) more expensive, or 60p cheaper in Canada. All depends on serving sizes, of course. Ahmed tends to be quite generous here. :P
