Have you actually read anything? It's not a generic MMO.
It is using a system based upon Final Fantasy 2. Not quite the same as WoW, LOTR Online, etc.

Lol oh u mad, thinking i'm trolling because i'm not creaming myself over a shitty MMORPG. I meant 11 is a shitty MMORPG with a FF skin. I'm sure 14 won't be much different.

The "like FF2" thing only pertains to the level up system. I highly doubt the actual gameplay is going to be much different from most MMORPGs... it even says on Wikipedia that WoW was one of their influences.

WoW's gone downhill. I'm debating on picking it up but uh. I might wait until I have my new PC

NO time, no money and I never was interested in MMO's to begin with. I doubt FF14 could change that. Not to mention that the only FF I ever got was FF8 and I haven't even finished that one yet.

I played a bit of the beta, and it's definitely an improvement over XI. I'll probably end up getting in once I finish my new PC build, because this one kinda does terrible running it. By the way, the Collector's edition of FFXIV comes out on the 22nd. The regular version comes out the 30th.

FF 1-10 were excellent. The series has had its ups and downs since then. Since they're putting a pay to play tag on this one, I won't be buying it. Who wants to pay $60 and then constantly pay to keep playing it?

Everyone who's bought WoW and FFXI?, and Everquest, Everquest 2, that APB game that got closed down after 2 months. etc

Having to pay a 300 Euros debt, Golden Sun DS, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, Monster Hunter Tri, and college won't give me neither time nor money to buy it. But I'd like to give it a try, I get tired of MMORPGs pretty fast, anyways.
