Remember claims made in August 2006 that Sony is planning to redesign the PlayStation Portable? It turns out they were true. Sony Computer Entertainment UK chief Ray Maguire yesterday confirmed a "smaller, lighter" version is on its way.

I think it's cool that they've decided to shrink it, its such a huge ass piece of equipment at the moment, a smaller version would be much more suitable, and definitely fit more into the "hand held console" bracket.

Apparently they're going to have a shoot at breaking the Gaming PC market alongside companies like Alienware and Dell.
I wish them all the best of luck, but I'm really not sure they'll do all that well.

And the winner of the next-generation console war is... Nintendo's Wii - at least according to market watcher IDC. In the short term, at least. It reckons Wii will "outship and outsell" the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation throughout this year and next.

Other Discussion / Weird Firefox Glitch. Random line on images.

Ok, this is weird. On random sites, randomly, firefox draws a little 6 (sometimes smaller) pixel by 1 pixel line on images after a certain distance.. take these screenshots for example;







Sometimes they're random colours too. And if I copy the image, into an image editor, the line is still there, so I assume that it's something to do with firefox rending the images. The strange thing is that it always seems to be in the same (or about the same) x coordinate of all of the images.

Just a quick note: When doing Save Image As... the line doesn't occur in the image.
Anyone seen this before?

Coding / CSS - overflow: hidden; (yes, an IE problem -_-)

I'm having some trouble using the overflow property in CSS with Internet Explorer.

I have a class called screen, which has it's overflow property set to hidden.
Within the "screen" div, I have another div called content, which changes size (generally its a lot taller than screen (which has its height and width set)). In firefox the content within "content" is hidden, yet in Internet Explorer (6) the content just shows over the top of screen.

Any ideas?

Well, it's quite the phenomenon, but it seems that all websites that (I assume) don't have a style for their text, show the text in Italics.

Now, first of all I thought it was just ZFGC ... then I checked other websites and the same thing. So then I though, oh, must be Firefox... so I opened IE and guess what? THE SAME THING?? .. hmmm *opens Opera* ... THE SAME!? O.o

Does anyone have ANY clue how this could have happened and how to fix it?
