Graphics / Beta Great Fairy
« on: March 20, 2010, 10:50:08 pm »

Recently in my game, I've been working on five great fairy fountains. Four of them look like the ones from Wind Waker and Four Swords Adventure, but the fifth looks like the beta model of Great Fairy from OoT. I spent a few hours working on a MC style of the Beta Fairy, but I didn't save and am too stuborn to remake it.....

Can somebody help? I used a FSA fairy as a base.

The only things that bother me here (besides the pillow shading) is that the center of the tree is too webbed. Make it more narrow and add a sharp corner. Remember, trees usualy are angled, bent, rough. Also, there is a single ear on its left side, I think you should get rid of it. Also, the Canopy needs to be less cemetrical. I really love what you did with the Deku terrain, but you should make custom trees to match the Deku Tree's Canopy.

Overall, I give it a 9.5/10

Also, you couldn't beat Vaati? Really? Sure he's difficult, but keep trying! Then you can get the last 6 figurines and unlock the sound test!
If you were talking to me, I can't becuase this computer, that I logg onto ZFGC, has two major problems. Every time its charger comes off, it turns off (batery's dead. Also, the harddrive is bad so it restarts the entire datium everytime it turns on. In result, I'm too lazy to restart it to get to that part. (I use all my downlods, coding, etc on my desktop.)

Thanks! XD So i did a bit of research on a bigger pot and apparently it is sold by the chef's wife. How much is it sold for at minimum? So far I am liking the game, except the fact that you need more rupees if you take too long. (If they release it in US, they should remove that part.)

Okay, Nintendo registered a trademark. But they've said repeatedly that they're not working on a new Wii.
Exactly. They are not going to give out any info on it for atleast 1 -3 years. But, they reserved/copy-righted the name, which means they are planning on creating it.

I have been playing it latly and reached to the last island of the first continent, Deku Forest. I became a bodyguard for the Jungle Hero, mapped the areas I can reach, connected Lon Lon Meadow and Deku Forest, and finished the Oincle camp. What I really need to do is give the Journalist Sweet Juice. So I went to town and bought the recipie then got the ingrediants. The delema is that for some reason, I can't cook with anything that requires more than five ingrediants.

What should I do?

(Stopped reading halfway through the first page.) I'm mainly exceited about Zelda Wii and DS2. I'm excited about the Power Wii, but I doubt they'll show it until next year. Especialy since Motion Plus is relativly new at the moment.

Ah, MC engines are hard to develop. I had to spend about three years perfecting an engine that is just MC-styled. (Not an actual MC engine.) I never played the origional, hope its good. Are you making it TLOZ styled with a custom engine (pallet purposes) or just a TLOZ engine?

It turns out the first engine sucked so much I didn't want to use it no more. So now I am making an NES engine for the game. It brings back the good old days.
Was the origional engine ALttP themed? And I hope your game is TLOZ2 styled.

These are the tiles from the Fire Dungeon like you said.  It looks a little weird to me, but you decide if it's good or not.
Thankyou very much. XD

LttP is not time themed, nor is TP for that matter. Oracle of Seasons on the other hand is, because going through the seasons is the same as fast forwarding through a year.
I agree with seasons. A Link to the Past, (its even in its title X ,x;). TP is semi-time-themed. Now that I think about it, the only thing time-themed in TP is how you go back in time using your Mastersword.

(Is there a limit to how many topics you can make?)

Okay so I need help here. I got this wall from Hyrule Castle, basicly, for my game you have to bomb a wall with a crack in it to enter a puzzle dungeon to reach a fairy fountain. What I need is someone to help me make a crack in the picture of the wall attached. Like the cracks from the Fire Dungeon from MC. I just need it cracked a little, not bombed off.

Attached is the only image of the FSA Great Faerie Fountain I can find.

Obviously you can't see the tiles, but you should be able to recreate it using LttP or Minish Cap cave tiles.
Thankyou verry much. The walls and floor seems to be normal fairy fountains from Minish Cap but I don't exactly recognise the fountains sprites. Thankyou very much. (P.S.: The FSA fountain detials are not required.)

Unless I play Spirit Tracks and like the train thing cause it doesn't look very good from the commercial
Don't waste your money on spirit tracks. In my opinoin, save your money up for Zelda Wii (we don't know price yet, or even the title). See if its good from reliable sources then buy it.

I am missing Wind in your line up. I guess the people have no air to breath.

Well, we see what will become of this.
He's right you know. Fou Swords, Four Swords Adventure, The Wind Waker, and Minish Cap were all Wind-themed. Although it may seem minor, it plays a huge part.

Also, does time fit into your game? A Link to the Past, Oracle of Ages, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess, and Phantom hourglass were Time-themed. TLOZ and Adventure of Link were miclenouse. Link's Awakening was Nightmare themed. Oracle of Seasons is Season-themed. Spirit tracks is... Hmmm... (Majora failure, even though it was train-themed......)

Nope, I just ripped those from an MC rom. Don't have a FSA ROM and I wouldn't know how to rip from that either.
Well, I tryed using Game Cube emulators but none of them work to me. I think a while back I found a ripping tool for Dolphin but don't remember where.
Hmm, just looked at the fountains, but besides the color and the side wallsculpture's They are exact the same.
Yup, the only difference is pallet walls and the actual Fairy. The walls are also themed apon what the fairy upgrades. I'm not sure about the FSA fairies though. All I know is that they are used as if ALttP fairies and upgrade your temporary items. (No idea what the interoir is like, the only thing close to it was a very blury image and the spritesheet of the fairy.)

Go to www.Zeldawiki.org to see a list of all the zelda games. There are 15 out at hte moment and the sixteenth is to come out towards the end of this year. So you'd be XVII. =P Also, Fire (not earth) created land. Pureness created laws of reality. Love created life. Not the mixed up Alchemic elements. ::) You also hve to give more information about this incarnation of the player and reformat you list.
