First time I booted this up and played, it froze my whole computer right as the ball was about to hit a ???-block. I didn't play it again, and I was given no error. I barley had any programs running in the background.
O_o. Intresting, looks like my physics library is cocking up again. Either that or your computer dosen't like the amount of particles that are created when certain blocks are destroyed. What computer are your urnning on?

AMD Athlon XP 1900+ 1.6 gHz
512 MB RAM
Geforce 3 Ti

Mind you, I run many other game just fine, such as World of Warcraft, Counter-strike (1.6 and Condition-zero) and others.

Paying for gimped roms ftl.

Just get an emulator and quit bitching.

Oh please, is that your argument? Nintendo created this feature, and it's their plight to actually realease something good for it. For a lot of people playing on the computer will never give the same feeling as actually playing the game on your TV, with an actual controller, in the console. You obviously can't understand that, so get out of this thread. Hell, no one would rather play OoT on the computer using a gamepad than on your console. It's just not the same.

Actually, both ZSNES and Snes9x are TAS compatible. So this is gonna be a tough one to judge, unless you force the players to use a console. Which would mean no entries. :(

The idea is that we trust them not to use em :P.... but yeah, Star Fox is really hard to play slowed down too; lol

But then again, you could just check for re-records. Even though a clever player could remove them easily.

Seriously though, if you're only level 6 and can't complete such an easy quest, just level up once. It's like 30 min of grinding.

Everything is close to flawless, graphics, sound, gameplay. My only quirk is that if you get a lot of time bonuses and the rupees start coming in bunches, it's not skill anymore. You just fire as much as you can. Minor complaint though, the game was very addicting!

wow. people seem to hard on nintendo when their ideas are quite good. DS and PSP, for example. Everyone thought that the DS would suck, but look at all the good games now, and look at how the PSP is doing. Same with Wii and PS3. Sure, you get great graphics for over twice the price, but look at where all the fun games are. Not on PS3. If the controls are worse on the GCN and Classic controllers, so be it. Stop whining and chuck some shells and stuff! Oh, and Adam West FTW! (my friend has an Adam West Mii that I made on his Wii.)

I'm whining because i'm questioning Nintendo's choice in Gimping two Controllers? !@#$% off, go shovel your fanboy !@#$% down someone's else's topic. If the controls are worse, guess what, thats not a good thing like you're for some reason making it out to be.

Well guess what, the Wii controller was made FOR THE WII, and vice versa for the GC controller. Don't get all spoiled because of SSBB. And yes you're whining.

Discussion / Re: Dampe and his so called "death"
« on: April 02, 2008, 09:07:50 pm »
Jeez, let go of it already. The guy faked his death, so what? Did you actually know him IRL? I don't think you did. Why do you care so much? "Oh no he stopped making my favourite fangame without telling me the actual reason" - well that's quite a stupid reason. If the pressure gets to the point where he couldn't lay off the project without people calling to his home phone, something is really wrong, and you have to take extreme measures.

The silver colour is very plain and standard. Perhaps change it to a darker shade?

I blame the rap music.
no, no, no
It was GTA that made this kid kill himself.
That and Marilyn Manson.

Also Counter-Strike.

It's a known fact he practised this on Counter-Strike.
Yes, obviously he TK'ed someone. That someone then used the bury punishing option, and this guy thought it was a great way of hiding. Where is Jack Thompson at?!

Hell, OoT for GC wasn't changed a single bit, and yet it sold like gold (Collector's edition).

Not really. The symbol of the Gerudo and the symbol on the Mirror Shield were changed, and the music from the Fire Temple didn't have the ominous chanting in the background.

Oh gee. Definitely warrants a port then.

I have nothing against games getting ported! but it has to be done well!

And I can't believe Sega actually brings out these 2 House of the Dead games without upgrading the graphics a bit.

The games look like !@#$% and House of the Dead 2 in particular.

The animations are shitty as hell and the textures are so !@#$% ugly. These 2 games are short as hell and they want us to pay 29,95 for that!

You seriously got to be !@#$% kidding me!
And why are you complaining? They aren't forcing you to buy it :x.
Sorry but this is the worst counter-argument ever.

Personally I don't give a damn about this series, but if I was a fan I would probably pay for it. Hell, OoT for GC wasn't changed a single bit, and yet it sold like gold (Collector's edition).
