Brother Dove

Brother Dove is the Founder and CEO of Mercury of Flying Dove, Inc. His job doesn't allow him to do much other than sitting. His eating habits are pretty healthy as he only eats paper. His excrement's can be a little wordy or full of imagery. His favorite thing in the world is his red hat. He finds it offensive when people call him a printer.

I got to agree with this. It's got some interesting points. It's also another way of showing how awesome Majora's Mask is. XD

Entertainment / Majora's Mask coming to Virtual Console
« on: March 28, 2009, 12:18:32 am »
Majora's Mask is supposed to be coming to VC in Japan sometime this April for 1,200 points. I'm guessing it will be released sometime this year elsewhere as well. I think it's pretty obvious why you'll have to pay an extra 200 points compared to other N64 VC titles.

Not sure if this is posted in the right forum but I'll post it anyway. I'm looking for a picture of a loading screen from Fallout 3 with the Vault Boy with a mutated third arm. If somebody can get this pic from any version, that would be appreciated. Thanks!

Entertainment / Banjo-Tooie in April
« on: January 28, 2009, 05:13:08 pm »
Banjo-Tooie is coming to XBLA in April around Easter time. The game will have a steady frame rate and "super-sharp HD graphics".

Quote from: Rare
As with the Xbox LIVE Arcade release of Banjo-Kazooie, you can expect all the fully-featured fun from the original game. But there’s more – 4J Studios have dredged the Banjo team’s collective memory and implemented the original plan for Stop ‘n’ Swop, for the first time on any platform ever and after many long years of waiting. Without going into too much detail, the Stop ’n’ Swop items collected in Banjo-Kazooie will ‘magically’ appear in Tooie, resulting in... well, you'll just have to find out. What could be cooler than that? Nothing, that’s what – not even Kazooie turning into a dragon.

I'm not sure if online multiplayer will be in the game but it's great to see SNS will be working this time around. Maybe Bottles' Revenge will be implemented as well. I am looking forward to this version but I still am a little tired of playing this game though.

Entries / Grizz McGrizzle
« on: November 27, 2008, 02:21:39 pm »

Character Biography
Grizz McGrizzle is a stuffed obnoxious bear from Grizzlyland which is now known as America for no reason. He was kicked out of his family because he wasn't vicious enough. He lived in the city for a few years and he was discovered by some nameless person who got him an acting career due to his great amount of talent. He has been in a few movies with other stuffed animals with his old chum Wolfy McHowl. He and Wolfy have been judges for the ever popular TV show Animal Idol.

What's a character without an arch nemesis? In McGrizzle's case, that would be Dillon, the Charmin bear with the glasses. Grizz depises him because he's so small, wears glasses, and looks like a big clump of toilet paper to him. Whenever Dillon does something stupid or is even around Grizz, Grizz will just throw up into a Pikachu's mouth for no reason. Apparently the Pikachu loves the taste of Grizz McGrizzle's vomit which I find dumb but that's what things are like nevertheless.

I think Grizz will answer his own FAQ since he's apparently a big shot. He really likes to talk and I wanted the FAQ for him to be somewhat informative from his point of view.

Do you miss your parents at all?
In some cases yes, in some cases no. They threw me away so why should I go back to them? Even if I did, I would laugh in their faces because I'm so obnoxious and I'm actually famous.

Who is Wolfy McHowl?
Wolfy is my best friend. I met him when I joined the acting school. We've been through a lot together over the years and I hope that bond doesn't go away.

Why do you hate Dillon so much?
Who knows really. I can't stand the piece of toilet paper at all. He's disgusting in my opinion and thanks to me, everyone uses him to go to the bathroom on which I find extremely priceless. Serves him right for being so lame.

Last year, Yubel entered Bobular, the Stick Figure and he ended up losing in the first round. What do you think of him and do you think you could do better?
I was actually keeping track of him. I was supposed to be entered last year but Mike wanted to go with Bobular. I didn't think Bobular would lose to that stupid rubber ducky girl. Serves Bobular right for being such a generic creation. Unlike him, I actually have talent.

What do you think of the competition this year?
I don't know. I really like Jar though but I could take a crap inside him and he'd lose more fangir... I mean fanboys, sorry. *laughs* Mike's brother has a creation coming in and I think he looks promising. If I don't win, I hope Jar or Dude wins because they seem like real promising characters like myself of course. Sorry about the rude comment Jar. Can you forgive me for being so rude to such a brilliant creation?

What's your favorite food?
It's a tough pick because I love lots of food. I guess you could say just a plain regular hamburger with just ketchup. I find that they are more tasty than tacos. :P

What do you think of Sarah Palin?
Overrated if you ask me. Yes, I did change my answer because I don't want to be mean even though I am very mean.

Grizz: Instead of taking up the page, I thought it would be ten times if you just clicked one of the 100x100 pictures below to see the full picture because it makes the page look much neater and it's looks better but that's just my opinion. 8)

Grizz: Yeah, there are only two signatures to choose from. A big one and smaller version of the big one. Take your pick! Sheesh!

Grizz: Below are some tidbits you can look at if your not busy looking at those other contestants like luigi's Character.

- Started his acting career at age 7
- He believes he's wholewheat and not white (like it even matters anyway)
- Gets angry when somebody doesn't like his acting
- People often think he looks like Banjo from Banjo-Kazooie but he doesn't see the resemblance
- Hates Banjo-Kazooie
- He wanted a round tummy spot for his sketches because he doesn't have one himself
- Despises those Link emoticons even though he used them above

Grizz McGrizzle

Character Biography
Grizz McGrizzle is a stuffed bear from a land called Grizzlyland which was once called America apparently. When he was born, his parents told him he was worthless because he wasn't a vicious bear. He ran away from home and lived in the city for a few years and he was discovered by some nameless person who got him his acting career for being very talented. He wishes to find his parents someday and laugh in their faces at the fact that he's famous and they're not.

Lately, he has been acting in movies with various stuffed animals such as a random Pikachu and his old chum, Wolfy McHowl. Out of all the things he hates in the world, he hates Dillon, a Charmin bear. For the past couple years, Grizz has worked as a judge for the ever popular "Animal Idol" with Wolfy McHowl and Paulell Duck (a Psyduck). He's planning on making his own show for stuffed animals who actually have talent because nobody who participates in Animal Idol has singing talent.

Why does Grizz hate Dillon?

Ever since the first stuffed animal movie they were in together, whenever Grizz laid his eyes on him, he began to have great rage. The odd time, Grizz will throw up into a Pikachu's mouth for no reason and hasn't been discovered why this is. Lately, Grizz has out grown this problem and doesn't need Pikachu's services anymore.

Did you have any other choices besides Grizz McGrizzle?

I did have a few other choices which were The Stupendous Fanboy, Chris P. Stylo, The Amotic Underpants, and myself (Hammer Bro. Mike). None of these guys were able to make the cut but could make an appearance next year.

Feedback / [Idea] News Articles
« on: November 19, 2008, 10:53:09 pm »
I find that when looking looking at some of the shorter articles, there's barely anything there. Why not include the image from the article on the News page into the Article kinda like Zentendo. I dunno, the news articles just seem a bit too boring with no images.

Also, possibly when a featured game is on the Weekly, you could include a logo for that project, a screenshot, or both just to get a quick look from there. I guess the avatar of a person who posted the article could be put up as well and for the comments too.

Entertainment / Marathon Gamer hosting Banjo-Tooie Face-Off
« on: October 31, 2008, 09:58:32 pm »
Yeah, I'm going to be participating in that even tonight because I have nothing else better to do. If you have a copy of Banjo-Tooie plus an N64 or even an emulator and rom of the game to stream, you can participate. It starts at 7:00PM MST (9:00PM EST). You can go to http://www.marathongamer.com/ to sign up and find out what you can win.

1st Place gets a copy of Nuts & Bolts, BK XBLA code, and a Nuts & Bolts players guide. If you're doing nothing tonight then why not do something that is supposed to be exciting. Meh, whatever. :P

Feedback / Midnight Theme Extras
« on: October 18, 2008, 10:36:02 pm »
I thought since the Midnight Theme is up and there are still some Kokiri Theme images in there, I thought I'd fix up some of those images for this theme. I have also modified the rank images as well since someone didn't finish the job doing it. I also did Online/Offline images if they are ever used again.

It's the real deal. I'm pretty satisfied with it. Runs more smoothly but the Jinjo speech faces do look creepy a little.

EDIT: Apparently if the video gets 500 views, the person will put up a full list of achievements for the game and how to get them. 1000 views, there will be another video.

Feedback / Site News
« on: September 14, 2008, 03:25:19 pm »
Since the site has opened up, some news articles were posted and such. Lately, the only thing that's being posted are the ZFGC Weekly issues. Shouldn't there be some more news posts to keep the site up to date such as the articles that MetaKirby was posting? Anyway, I was wondering was all because the site doesn't seem too active in terms of news posts, except for the weekly.

Feedback / Online/Offline image location
« on: August 11, 2008, 01:49:30 pm »
I noticed that the image is back but it kinda squishes the username, personal icon, and custom title in a scrolling box. I noticed this with MetaKirby and Mammy. It should be moved to a different spot but I don't know where.

EDIT: Also, with the awards back, it kind of makes the box bigger. Maybe try putting the awards underneath the credits area rather than in the box.

Entertainment / Banjo-Kazooie on XBLA!

Did anybody hear about this? I was surprised to hear about it. I didn't find out about it until now because I was camping for a week. Banjo-Tooie is supposed to be on it sometime as well. Stop 'N' Swop will be implemented and you can unlock stuff for Nuts & Bolts in BK.

Feedback / Themes after the forum upgrade
« on: July 08, 2008, 05:01:02 pm »
Since most of these themes won't come back apparently once the forum is upgraded. I was thinking we could discuss some different theme ideas here for right now. I'm not sure if these themes will be here after the upgrade but anyway, why not discuss?

I'm thinking that the default theme right now and the Royal Green/Blue should still be around. So, there should also be better adaptations of the default theme using a blue and red style. They could be called ZFGC Kokiri, ZFGC Goron, and ZFGC Zora. We could come up with better names though. There should also be a Royal Red theme to go with the Royal Green and Royal Blue. Right now, there'd be 6 themes.

There should definitely be a new default theme. Something new and unexpected and would completely surprise us members when we see it. I dunno what it would look like but it would look really cool.

Anyway, you can discuss ideas if you're really that interested. I thought it would be cool is all. Some of the themes need work, some shouldn't even be on here, and some could possibly need some tuning up, I dunno.
