I think what is making them look flat is the fact that your lightest color is a bit too light. It needs to be closer to the other dark colors right now it looks like a strip of bright color not a highlight.

The only bad thing about custom graphics is it would be a complementary new style and who knows how long it would take to get all the spriters spriting in that style correctly for it all to work.  It isn't like adding just a few more weeks time we are talking months maybe even years we add for custom graphics.  I would love to use something like we had with ZFGC style, but sadly  :'( I am afraid that if we did the slowness of the graphic creation might kill the project.

Actually I would suggest less patches but MORE tatters.

Same here. I'm wondering though, what are those brown lines that sort of look like tassels? They look a little odd to me. And I'm not a fan of the belt buckle style. Besides those things, I really like it a lot. Head design is great, and body dimensions and whatnot are good too. Nice artwork there Bludleef.

LOL yeah they were supposed to be a tarnished gold border that ran along the outside of the scarf, but it didn't turn out quite right.

Working on that.  Mostly the same, but less patches and tatters a few changes other than that, but not much.  I am debating the cap though.

I'm a little confused. If when resuming the project you are using the elements of its story that have already been put out there, why is the graphical style up for changing when there have been a lot of Minish Cap style stuff done for it as well?

While this is true.  We feel that it is best to look at the team we have and let them choose.  It won't do any good if we set the style to say Minish Cap, but our team is more comfortable working in Link to the Past.  Progress would either be slow or non-existent. No one on our team knows our teams ability better then themselves.  Now I realize this is up for the whole community, but it is the community that will need to support this project for it's progression.

Mic chat would be fine, but I want everything to get logged, which gtalk will handle automatically for us with text.

Only bad thing that comes with mic chat is background noise.  With text everything is clear and if you miss something you can scroll back. ;)

Well right now in the story he is an orphan, but I don't think an exact age has been discussed, but usually when you think orphan you think young.  So dunno how a beard/stubble would work.

OK since people obviously don't understand the term placeholder I will just remove the avy and sig until I finish the art I am working on based off of some of Dayu's design, but not all of it.   When I say something is a placeholder I mean it will not be there long, but I was mainly working on the logo not so much the link art.

Pretty sure step 1 should not be promote the game with stolen art. Even if you're crediting him, he's asked people not to use it.

yeah i found it through a google search and liked the look of it.  Never planned on using it permanently anyway though.

OK since people obviously don't understand the term placeholder I will just remove the avy and sig until I finish the art I am working on based off of some of Dayu's design, but not all of it.

This art done by Dayu.  I kind of like the look of link. May be a good starting point for our link's green tunic form.

Any way is fine with me. As far as availability goes Weekends are best for me as I work on the weekdays.  Friday nights after 5pm(central) are the best as I have to wake up early Sunday for church, but if it must be done I may be able to make myself available for a chat at other times.  I have plenty of down time at work, but chatting on the computer when you have a bunch of kids you are supposed to be teaching in a classroom is kind of frowned upon. XD

I am not picky, but I was thinking since you need a sound director maybe I could direct game design and foreshadower could do sound(another of his departments).  Then again I could direct sound to I guess, but I am no composer.
