Wind Waker with Skyward Sword as a close second.

I think the Steam servers just crashed.
But yeah, I've looked at some reviews of Rage...it seems to be a horrible console port, which is surprising, since id is supposed to be catering to the PC-market most I feel. Also, the driving with the dune buggy in the game really puts me off.
I'll just wait until this one drops to around or below $10/€10.

So Arkham City...€9,50...good deal?

Arkham City is a wonderful game, and I feel it's worth full-price - so yeah, it's a good deal!

The reason I've stayed away from it is the DRM. GFWL makes me foam at the mouth. It has SecuROM too adding up to a whopping 3 forms of DRM, Steam's, GWFWL and SecuROM -_-

Entertainment / Steam Summer Sale
« on: July 17, 2012, 12:22:29 pm »
Hey guys, the Steam summer sale started last Thursday and has been going on for a while now. So I was wondering what goodies people have bought so far and if they're holding out for a daily deal or flash deal on any games in particular.

So far I've bought:
  • Binding of Isaac Wrath of the Lamb DLC
  • Alan Wake
  • Plants vs Zombies
  • The Witcher: Enhanced Edition (ROW)
  • The Witcher 2
  • Fallout 3 - Game of the Year
  • Age of Empires III: Complete Collection

I know that there have been a lot of other good sales but I already owned a lot of those games (e.g. New Vegas+All DLC, Skyrim, Civ5+DLC, Metro 2033, Trine 2, Borderlands, etc). I'm not holding out for anything in particular at the moment. So what about you guys?

[edit] I just realised that this is my first post on ZFGC in a year! So hello again everyone :)

I'll give you guys that I forgot about Final Fantasy 8 which was also quite terrible but FF10 is still miles ahead of FF7. The best ones are, of course, FF5, FF6, FF9 but you shouldn't ignore FF4 (especially the DS remake) or FF10 which are both still decent.

Chrono Trigger is certainly highly regarded in most gamer's eyes but I think there's anything particularly wrong with it. I'm quite fond of it although I do believe that its difficulty level is way too low. If you think it's overrated then take a look at Final Fantasy 7 which has to be the most overrated game of all time despite having no special qualities and being one of the worst games in the series.

I've been considering getting a new TV (something bigger and with included NTSC support) for a while. Along with this I've been thinking about buying an XBox 360 to show off the looks on the new TV and play some of the FPSes and JRPGs that sadly aren't available on the Wii.

From what I've read of reviews though this doesn't sound like it has a lot of the typical Final Fantasy material in it though. It does sound like a good game but not something that I, as a fan of the series, would feel fulfilled my expectations.

Other Discussion / Re: Wiki source code

Depending on what exactly you want there's a massive selection of Wiki software available. Personally I tend to use DokuWiki which doesn't require MySQL. However if you're after a mass used piece of software you may be more interested in MediaWiki (the software that Wikipedia uses).

Hopefully that solves your problem. If it doesn't then try explaining it in greater detail and I'll give it another shot.

Lessee...

Gossip Girl (although I haven't watched it in about three weeks)
The O.C. (used to watch that when it was on)

Oh, and one of the girls upstairs invites me to watch Desperate Housewives with them on Sunday nights. I don't really like the show but the food the girls have there along with the company makes it a fair way to spend an hour.

It seems that ZFGC is breaking the zip file or something? Try this RapidShare link.

I have whatever stuff was hosted on Frider Waves before now. See the attached file for all of the files that were in /engines/click on the website. If you're after anything else then please specify what exactly and I'll see if I can locate it for you.

To be honest I don't think we should have badges, despite my previous post saying "good to have them back".

They would be too cluttered most likely.

They would just replace the below your personal text, Pyro. While they might take a few pixels more in height it's hardly noticeable.

I was working on Royal Green at the time.

I made some position images. I still need to make one for the Member position but here's what I got so far.

Pretty sure you already made one for the member position...
I meant one that's just called "Member" like how for admins it's called "Manager". It doesn't matter anyway though.

Members get the post count related badge while staff get the staff badge. See now why a "Member" badge isn't necessary and wouldn't be used?

As the article says she is following her dream. I know it's The Sun but lets just (probably wrongly) assume that that is actually really the case despite the crap they churn. If so then it's her decision to further decimate herself. Her husband, however, is someone to feel sorry for. Sure, he probably should of known what he was marrying when he got together with her but no-one could have really predicted what she would do to herself. Now he's stuck with a crazy woman and a higher ratio of silicon.

Yep.

My advice is really to work on the basis of the default kokiri theme if you wish to design graphics. The others are superflous and are used by VERY few people.

I did tell Yubel that earlier:

Not bad, Yubel. Although we're probably going to need the equivalents for the default theme (ZFGC Kokiri) before the new rank images get implemented. I suggest they use the same font and colours as the ZFGC Kokiri online/offline button does.

I use the Royal Green theme so I'm just going by it right now. The current online/offline images should be updated with the Return of Ganon font I think. I guess I'll get to work on some other images now. I might do Royal Blue edits while I'm at it.

Yeah, it's just that because ZFGC Kokiri is the default theme I think it's important to understand that any new features/changes are likely to be applied to it first. Otherwise the default theme will seem somewhat broken which doesn't look good to new and prospective members (guests).

I don't know. I'm quite fond of the current doctor and also the previous one (he was awesome).

Anyhow, did anyone see the planet thing coming? I missed all three references to missing planets/moons in the series... I'm so ashamed of myself for missing it. I figured out the master thing for the last season three episodes in.

Oh, and I love how the daleks talk a lot more this time round.

Hey Slimmy, whose your favourite character from the series?

Everyone's favourite character is obviously Captain Jack. Why do you think the Torchwood series is/was so popular?

I've been in better. "Does this Bra look good on me"...albeit she was a lil' bit drunk...it was to a crowd of people (of which I was the only male)...I believe I mentioned this and that I looked away, yes?

Pfff. No wonder you're considered her "gay" friend. You're meant to say "It would look even better off, hun".
