3D RubeQube (pronounced
"Roob-Kyoob"
, or
"Roobee-Kyoobee"
) is a 3d Rubik's Cube game that I'm working on at the moment. It's designed to simulate a real Rubik's Cube
Screenshot:
Features
Full rotation of the Qube
Change 3D Light perspective of the Qube
Select from up to six preset colors for the Qube
Customize the colors of your Qube
Can see 3 sides of the Qube at all times
Shows all the sides of the Wube at once and allows you to select the 3 sides you wish to see at one time
Status bar tells you what the buttons mean on mouse-overs
plus much mnore...
It's still in the works right now, but I'm wroking hard on it.
Comments, please!

Whoa, this is nice. O.O I had an idea like this, but you thought it out alot. Great job! Can't wait to play when done..
BTW, you need a demo to post in this forum, or a trailer atleast. Yeah, it sucks, but it makes people like your game more.

Wow, that looks great
.
That must be hard to code
. The math would have driven me crazy and killed me before I got half as far as you.

Very nice. Can you peel off the stickers and re-stick them on?
..>_> what?
I also hope you'll put in an algorithm to solve the cube from any position

I saw a 3D Rubik's Cube game once, it was pretty hard to rotate the right sides and such.
I hope this is more user-friendly.
