Why in hell would anybody *want* a PI, anyways? They're rather annoying, and quite pointless :D

There's such a double standard about religion in the modern world. Catholics can gather, wear white robes, and say "In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti" and be considered normal.

But if my friends and I gather, wear black robes, and say  "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn", we're considered cultists.

To identify yourself in an image form. PI's are uselessly small, and pointless when you have an Avatar.
These so called "PI Wars" are the second most ridiculous thing ever.

Second to Mugabe still being alive that is >_>

PI wars are basically spriting competitions.. except it doesn't necessarily have to be sprited. And PIs are nice because they're fun to make and have, and also serve an identification purpose - especially in topic view. Besides which, avatars don't identify you definitively as people switch their avatars often. Not even names positively identify you.

Actually, Kame, there are people who keep the same avatar for lots of times, and I recognize/identify lots of people that way. I think I'm not the only one...
Anyways, my opinion on PIs are neutral (I would just put another Portugal flag there), so, I'll stay quiet and go grab some cookies... ^^

Haha, we could do avatar wars. :P

And it's really no different than a spriting competition.
