Why in the world does Link not wear a "mail" on TP.  His clothes on that screenshots of the game make him look like an indian.  Is he like an indian on TP?

I have no idea what dlbrooks33s is talking about here. First one to make me understand wins a big hug from um....jessica alba. yeah. No seriously though wth are you talking about? Link isn't indian he's hylian. I'd be slightly worried if I ever met anybody, indian or otherwise that looked like link....

If you are refering to his clothes at the start of the game...well I've never seen any indian clothes that look like them at all. he appears to have a tiny matress strapped around his stomach....

Thats what I meant in that other picture with the chain mail.  I was talking about it without the chain though, when I said mail, I was referring to his greenclothes and such.  Well, why doesn he start out in "indian" clothes?

Woah, calm down buddy. Indian is a widely accepted name for Native Americans. Nobody said anything racist towards Native Americans. And if you think that calling Link's clothes "Indian clothes" is racist when he means native american, why wasn't it racist when you thought he meant indian. :P

Becaus Indian is thier real name. Calling Native Americans Indians may be excepted, but that doesn't make it right, stupid Colombus. Plus I was kidding a little bit, though it still pisses me off.

Well I still don't think looks like an "Indian" or a "Native American" it's just his "village" clothes I guess kinda like in Wind Waker where in the beggining he wears his blue shirt and orange pants outfit thing

Because his brain is made of cake and the Russian mafia have surrounded his house with invisible doors.

What do you mean why doesn't he start out in Indian clothes? Maybe because he's not Indian? Unless that "doesn" was supposed to be a "does", because you accidentally hit the 'n' key while your finger was sliding across the keyboard to the space key, he starts out in "Indian clothes" because they're the sort of clothes they wear, so Link wears those clothes before he moves on to other tunics.

So no, he's not an Indian in Twilight Princess and you should probably be playing the game for yourself instead of asking around... if you haven't already.

"Mail" doesn't mean "Clothes" I agree with Hero of Fire, go play the game and see for yourself, either that or at least make your questions consice so people can understand what you're on about  XD

Well for one farmboys don't normaly wear "mail" as they don't typically fight. Hense why link starts out in the "indian/native american" gear which if you know anything about medevil villages is actually more acurate to belgum around medevil times, but anyways. He wears that because he is a farmboy not a warrior. He does not plan on going on an adventure to save the world it just happens, and his clothes change accordingly. Also, in the game you can gain magical armor which would be closer to the "plate mail" of which you speak.
