Hello everyone on ZFGC. I am actually surprised when I didn't see any Harry Potter discussions on the forum. I personally am really excited about the new movie coming this month. I can't wait! I really liked the other movies so I am sure this one will be just as good. I have also never read much books about Harry Potter. I only own the first two. I am thinking about reading all of them and getting the new one.

i havent read the last 2 but i think harry is going to die.But i got read 5 and 6 soon :P

In before the Harry Potter haters. I honestly think the next one will be good. The book seems a bit more mature than what I believe it was originally intended to be.

Harry Potter is a pretty good series. I wouldn't say the best, but enough to make me preorder mine. :D I didn't like them for a while, but with the last one we actually get a littl bit of seriousness. Whoo!

Personally I think the movies were !@#$%, the books were pretty good and were written very elegently but they just don't convert to movies very well.

<_< dunno, In all the book harry is shouting to all that it's not funny at all. So I doubt it will be a good movie.

I've read all the books of the series. I used to like a lot the series when I started it, but now I've got a little bored of it. And there are (many) better series too. But anyway, the fifth book was the best in my opinion, and I hope the movie becomes great too (not like the 4th, which was terrible).

Will you read it in english or you'll wait for the translation? I think I will wait for the translation, because I'm reading other books right now; but I remember that I had read the 5th book in english :P

In english, it can be found around here on the very first day. The translation will take quite some months, and then it will be released during school time and then I will have less time...
Besides, I'm out of books to read at the moment... :x May have to buy something until HP comes...

Yay! I personally hate reading books but the Harry Potter books are great, the movies 1 and 2 are kinda boring but they are getting  better each movie..

No, I think the 4th movie was the worst. The book was too big for them to "sum up" in a 3 hours' film. The 5th book, which has more than 700 pages, will probably have even more scenes removed too...

Wasn't one of the books like almost a thousand pages?

I think the movies sucks. The books are decent; some parts of it are good, others could be better.

@venus: longest = 700 or so pages
