Resident Evil 4(Wii)

We Europeans have to pay allot more for this game then the Americans! The price is really different between most shops. I've seen the game priced at the follow prices: €55,- €50,- €45,- and after searching allot I found a toy store that sold it for €39,95- (Lucky me!) I've never played Resident evil 4 before so this is a new game to me. I've played at the moment around 90 minutes and I really enjoyed what I've seen so far. I killed everything I saw so far! including cows, chickens, I tried to kill the dog but he seems to be immortal. Or is it natural that he keeps running after 5 shots in the head? XD I love to shoot in both legs from one of those weird villager so I can slash my knife in the head. :D So who else bought this masterpiece?

I didn't buy it because I have the GC version.
Do the controls work well?

Do you have to bay 25% extra in taxes for your games? We do D:, it sucks because it makes them more expensive than they have to be .

Yeah it works really good! I made allot headshots.

I heard that the taxes are really high in the Netherlands and defenitly for games. Which really sucks!

Here in Iowa we only pay 7% sales tax.

Anyway, I bought this game despite the fact that I own the GCN version. It is definitely the definitive version of the game: the graphics of the GCN version, the extras from the PS2 version, and a perfect new control style.

The controls are wonderful, and perfect for a game where you need to be fast. You've got a mob after you, and you're out of bullets. Instead of repositioning your hand and pressing a button, just quickly flick the remote down. There's a villager right in front of you ready to attack, and you don't have time to ready your gun. Just swing the remote and slash him with the knife. The controls work really well, and make the game a lot better and more intense.

I like the Gamecube boxart allot more! And you haven't played the Gamecube version before too?

Nope. All we have to pay is a 5% sales tax on everything except food.

Well the texas here must be atleast 20% for games, if it ain't higher... Anyway I played more then 7 hours so far and god what do I love this game! And the enemies are really damn smart.

I'll probably pick this game up eventually, ..after I get a Wii, of course. I've never played a RE game before, so I'll probably also get the GCN Resident Evil Remake, and RE0, and the others, eventually, ..probably starting with RE for GCN, seeing as how I never played the original. Seems like a good series.

Oh, and we just have a 6% tax here, on everything except food XD.
