Okay, I might not be the first person in the world, but I don't know anyone else here who has THREE monitors plugged into one computer.

I was going to get three 19", but they were too expensive. So I got three 17" acer ones (shudder) as they were on offer, £99 each. And if anyone says "Wow, $600 on monitors??", over here, it's a good price >_>

Next challenge: get a decent PCI graphics card. Like this, I've got a really old one handling one monitor, and the PCI-ex 256mb one handling the other two, so if you drag a game onto the other monitor, it drops its FPS from >400 to about 4.

... you remind me of Pickle (other ZFGC member, he came here but was banned ... for heresy, believe it or not <_<;). I told him I had dual monitors, and he said that he was sad because he only had one. I suggested he do a dual monitor setup, that it wasn't hard, and ... know what he said?

I would assume for multitasking, the same reason many of us have dual monitors.  Also because it's !@#$% cool.

I have eight desktops but "only" one monitor. Although I have to switch by using a little panel application it's not much worse since you can't really work on all three (and definitely not eight) monitors at the same time anyway. :P

As one person said, "you'll never have to use Alt-Tab again". Also yes, photoshop is a bit easier to use with much more space.

It would be very similar with Compiz, but that's not so easy because of the crappy proprietary graphics drivers.

Beryl isn't being developed anymore. I would get Compiz (Fusion).

I got three nipples!

Eh >_> no..sorry, felt like posting that :P Anyway, looks awesome. I'd have two pcs on my desk running simultaneously, but I don't have the money to burn on it :(

Well, I actually dragged the taskbar onto the one on the left because I keep going there for the start menu. But the one on the right needs to be primary because when you run games, if they change the resolutuion of the other monitors, everything moves.

Nice! Maybe I'm going to get a dual screen. Any suggestions? Shall I buy another monitor? Or a custom dual screen? I have no idea how it works :P

OSHI- That's like the new XWindows for SuSE that gives you Vista-like Flip3D ... BUT BETTER :O
