On a darker theme I can tell you have some transparency issues so you just want to make sure you work on a transparent background from the start. Otherwise it's nicely vectored lol maybe add slight cell shading next time?

Eek. Looking at it on another theme looks pretty bad yeah. :-X

Not bad, though I'd recommend simplifying the teeth.  Maybe something like four stylized teeth on the top and four on the bottom, (if that makes any sense).  Maybe lower the amount of spikes on the top of the head as well, (maybe three?), but that's not really that noticeable and is a minor gripe.
