Really, they ruined the Trigun anime by making it before the books were completed. At the end where the story is completely different, the only good part was the episode where Wolfwood dies, and only for the scene in the cathedral(love that scene). In the books there are lots of places where I kinda feel sad, or get mad at people for doing something they obviously should've done(Wolfwood didn't frikkin' kill Legato when he saves Vash). But for all the goodness of this awesome series, it has a pretty mediocre ending, and if you haven't read it I'm about to spoil it for you, Vash practically dies in the battle with Knives, and then Knives saves him. Blegh. But the part in the books where Wolfwood dies is amazing, and that part is probably more emotional than anything to do with Vash and Rem. Oh, did anyone notice that they spelled Rem's last name wrong in the english version of the anime?
