One band I'm really surprised hasn't had their own GH game, is KISS. Seriously, with Gene Simmons being the money genius he is, I think it'd be a good investment, plus they have a lot of good songs :3
This is because the "Make a Guitar Hero game based off of a single band" is a new thing. But, yeah, that's a very likely move. Well, I think I'm off of Guitar Hero now. First Aerosmith, and then Metallica. Sure, they are bands that have some good guitar and lots of hits...but...I think they are missing the point. Who wants to play a game with just one band? Especially when video games cost so much. I could see a metal GH, death metal GH, etc. but a whole game for metallica? C'mon. They can do better.
I agree, GH is a series that's good for its wide variety of music from a wide variety or time periods. I never liked the GH: Aerosmith idea at all. Maybe as a downloadable package, but I wouldn't buy it as a standalone game.
