Kinda off topic, but what is BS Zelda? Isn't it a re-released version of the original LoZ with better GFX?

Nope, it's actually a different game running on a similar engine to LoZ, with better graphics.

HOWEVAH, different people have made LoZ remakes using BS graphics for Zelda Classic.

I guess all these years I've been misinformed... Apparently it's the Broadcast Satella-view not Bandai ;[!

The games were "Broadcasted" to players on specific days between specific hours, so you played them in episodes. I believe Zelda was broadcast in 3 or 4 sections and you had X amount of time to gather the items required to progress.

BS stands for Broadcast Satellite. The system was the Bandai Broadcast Satellite - Unknown, and it was used to download games on BS-X save disks that ran during scheduled broadcast times.

I could never appreciate the original LOZ compared to all the other Zelda games. It's just too simple and crappy these days. I don't like superficial games. There needs to be some story, some more depth.  :-\
Sure, for it's time it was probably awesome. And if you played it when it came out it's got a lot of sentimental value. But 'for it's time' is exactly the point. In the time we live in now, that game would be considered way too basic. Unless you still like that sort of stuff.
