Felt like coloring in this image of Sugawa:


I'm still pretty new to using Gimp and or Photoshop, but heres how it turned out:

What do ya guys think?

It's not bad, but you lost a ton of detail on the clothing by using a single color over the jacket outlines

Thanks.  Yea I did lose a lot of detail lines, but I was kinda seeing if I could go with a more fur like jacket, but even so I did lose a lot of detail, lol.

Personally for coloring in Photoshop I prefer to select the area that should be colored (with lasso tool, usually), and then go "Hue/Saturation" and checkmark the "Colorize" option. Try it sometime. This is what I got for your picture using that method:



EDIT: That was actually only the second time I've colored something like that, but that just shows how effective it is.
