My First Attempt at Spriting

Hi all. This is my first attempt at spriting. Before this I've been mainly focusing on programming. Anyway, here's my first attempt; I have two versions of the mirror shield from TWW, which one do you think is better, left or right, and any suggestions for improving them?

looks pretty cool, I like the right beter
you should enlarge it so people can it it beter.
