I found one of my best WiP games on this computer, and I am so siked to see it.

Current Features:
3 Types of Enemies (Bat, Slime, and Molar)
2 Bosses
3 Items (More are coded and done, but 3 are in the storyline, Sword, Boomerang, and Bombs)
New Areas to Explore
Much More.

Story:
The tranquil world of Mostiria soon becomes threatened by the warlord Marquez.  You play the hero, Noble, who has to stop him before Mostiria is destroyed.  The road won't be easy (neither will the game, :D.), but a hero has to rise, and Noble is the one.

The character does NOT fit the graphical style at all. O_o And it looks like every other game you make with those Manhandled GB graphics. But good luck to you, the gameplay itself looks promising.

Some notes:

- Character doesn't fit Zelda
-  i expected to start with the sword.
-  The bats are annoying
-  Fighting the boomerang boss again

I purposly kept killing myself by falling down the hole. That's such a sweet sound. ^__^
I don't think you should have it snap-to-grid, however. It ruins the overall effect of free roaming.
The battling I kept dying, because I couldn't slash and run off. It took some getting used to, and I think you die too easily because of the monsters. If you're going for a harder to kill effect, however, it was good.
Also, when the bushes dissapear I think you should make the heart appear a bit of early, because it looks like it's coming out of thin air.
I got to the boomarang, and then died from the boss twice. Is there much more after that?
I enjoyed the game, keep up the good work. Hope my suggestions helped you out.

P.S. I see nothing wrong with the character...
and this isn't a ZEDLA project. Please keep note of that Fissure ;)

It has Zelda items, zelda enemies, zelda spirites, it's zelda.

- Only one heart starting with?
- The bats have much more hp then they should
- The boomerang isn't even hurting your weird mole boss
- When you shoot the boomerang it stops and goes back to you where the boss comes up, even if the boss is underground.
- When you reach the water, if you go right instead of left and then go down or contrinue right and go into an unleavable black area. I did manage to leave it one time.

No zelda sprites, I drew them myself.  To hurt the boss, you have to deflect its fireballs back at it with the sword.  I forgot to make those black areas unwalkable until I got there.  I really wante dthis game to be difficult, and the 16x16 snap is reall good for what I want to do with this and it makes it even harder, but it can still be done.  Thanks for the comments, and I'm glad you like it :).

DO NOT USE RPGMAKER RTP MUSIC/SOUNDEFFECTS! I hate those things to DEATH! RTP MUST DIE! DIIIIIIIE!

Ahem... this was actually very awesome! It was like how Dragon Quest should of been; With an action battle system. Thankfully I've played Rpgmaker Games most of my indie game playing life so the grid based movement is nothing new. I'm gonna' play summore!

BTW, if you want I could make sound effects for you.

Ok, zelda looking sprites to me.

Anyway, the new screen is ok, looks like a sand version of the 3rd screenshot, not really any variety.

Looks pretty cool. The character doesn't match at all, I think a simple edit might do the trick.

Every time I play one of your games, DL, the more I wish I had a coder as skilled as you. Seriously, this was amazing! It reminded me of the soul blazer series for some reason... all you need to do is make the game about world regeneration, and you have yourself Soul Blazer 4!

getting the boomerang was really annoying, it takes alot of time to destroy all the enemies IMO, also the grid movement should be changed apart from that good job.
