How do you Install mods with SMF for free?

I having trouble figuring out how to install mod packages (such as the [you] tag) into an SMF for free forum page. I'd also like to know where I can get the youtube tag package too.

You cant. But I'm sure if you sent an email to the forum host owner they could add it for you.

I thought you could can't you modify the code for the current theme you're using, or make this Header/Footer thing?

Well usually mods come in packages usually .zip format which you upload via the admin panel. Or you can code them directly into the Source, which I'm assuming you dont have due to the free forum host.
