Making the tag [sarcasm=yourrealtexthere]sarcastic comment[/sarcasm]
That when you hover the link, it will show in a little temp popup window (would be easy in JS and HTML DOM) and shows the real text ^^

sarcasm is lame, say what you have to say and don't go around wasting time so a person can figure out what you mean.

Or you could just create your own, ya know.  Just add "[/sarcasm]" to the end of your post.

I see how this would be different, but I don't think anyone would use it after the first couple of weeks.

But I think that will sound very weird like:

"!@#$% you!!![/sarcasm]"

The basic idea is that if it's not completely obvious that you're being sarcastic, add some sort of indicator to help, whether it's an emoticon or a "[/sarcasm]" tag or whatnot.  Usually I'll just start a new paragraph with something like "but seriously," and say something meaningful, which helps the reader understand that the previous paragraph had been a joke.

You all are smart, I'm sure you'll figure out a way.

here is what I do all the time and it works.

Normal: (written as a fact)

Paper is made from trees.

Sarcastic:

*Hey, did you know paper is made from trees?*

Sticking in the those stars at then begining and end of the statement sets it off so the reader can tell that your joking.

Here is a better clearer example:

I wonder what life would be like if there were time limits on things like on a Mario Game?
*OMG the popcorns down to 10 seconds in the microwave! I'm going to die in 10 seconds!*

See I was being sarcastic in the Starred Statement.
Note: To Type a Star Press and Hold Shift and then press "8" on the keyboard.

People mostly use asterisks to indicate spelling corrections (in instant messages) or actions.  Like instead of doing:
* dantheman jumps off a cliff and dies

I would instead do:
*jumps off a cliff and dies*
