Counter-strike Source Graphical Glitch hell on V...

Except it doesn't run that smooth on vista it also has hundreds of graphical errors! So bad that I even can see through some walls. But since it doesn't run that smooth I can't use it in my advantage. XD Anyway what I don't understand is that it Half-life 2 works perfectly on Vista so far I played. And since Counter-strike Source is based on the Half-life 2 engine I don't understand why it has all these graphical bugs and Half-life 2 not!

It's Vista, you know. It's a !@#$% operating system for games. It probably runs as many games as a Mac.

Upgrade your graphics drivers. :\. You probably have !@#$% drivers that came with the OS or something.


just go to www.ati.com or www.nvidia.com   ATI if you have a Radeon card and Nvidia if you have a Geforce D:

THen just download the drivers and install them. DO IT. I'm sure your troubles will go away.

Ya, I'd say your drivers. When I had Vista, CS:S worked perfectly for me

The problem is that I can't find drivers! my video card is:
NVIDIA GeForce 8400M G
When I check on Nvidia it says I have to go to www.acer.com for the drivers. But I can't find the drivers there... >_>

Well I forgot say I have 32-bit Vista plus that the NVIDIA GeForce 8400M is a special Graphic card for notebooks. So that one doesn't work and I tried it before I posted my previous post.

It runs about 80% of old Windows games, most at half FPS.

Okay I finally found the right drivers and I installed them and there are no graphical bugs anymore and it runs smooth. :D
