Anyone listen to Nightwish?

Good god they're kickass, lol... I've been listening to them for a little while; not as long as they've been around though... Probably only a couple years... but I've never had access to their whole discography until now, and holy !@#$% O_O...

They kinda teetertot between 2 different styles; symphonic metal (Planet Hell) and more castlevania'esque type music (Gethsemane); it's just brilliant. Tarja (the singer) kicks some ass, but she's no longer with the band... I'm not too fond of the new singer (yet)

I've heard a few songs by them. They're pretty cool. Not something I'd regularly listen to, but there's no denying that they're good.

It's been one of my favourite bands for half a decade now. I've got all their albums - save for the Over the Hills and Far Away EP - and still enjoy listening to them on a regular basis. I'm gonna see them live next month, which is awesome. Unfortunately I'll have to to do that alone since not only did I plan to go there with my ex girlfriend when we were still together, it's sold out as well. Oh well, Nightwish won't be any less kickass because of that.

Anyway >_> it's awesome music and once you've gotten used to Anette's voice, which isn't all that bad, you'll grow fond of Dark Passion Play as well.

Yeah I like Poet and the Pendulum from Dark Passion Play, and a bit of Amaranth :P

1) Beauty and the Beast (Live)
2) Beauty of the Beast
3) Astral Romance (2001 Version)
4) Bye Bye Beautiful
5) Slaying the Dreamer
6) Planet Hell

Ahhh, Nightwish is amazing! The songs are just so intense and enchanting.
I'm planning to see them when they come back to Finland after their world tour. (which might take a long time -_-)
Some of my favourite songs would have to be:
Slaying the Dreamer
The Siren
Planet Hell
Moondance
Poet and the Pendulum
Creek Mary's Blood
Kinslayer
7 Days to the Wolves
etc.
The Melodies are just pure gold and diamonds.
