So yeah. Do I save money for a little while and get a DS Lite and The World Ends with you.

OR do I get Mario Kart Wii?

I need good arguments here people, not just "GET THAT!" "NO GET THAT INSTEAD!"

Get Mario Kart because they're always (usually)solid games, and you know it'll be fun, and it's allot cheaper than buying a DS for The World Ends with you when it may not be a good game.

I agree with that. I never heard of The World Ends anyways :P I wish I'd have Mario Kart, you should be lucky for having money to buy it :)

I think buying a DSlite would be a good investment overall, (lots of great games), though I haven't played The World Ends with You.  Mario Kart Wii would be the easier decision since you'd be able to get it right away without needing to save more money, but how big of a fan are you of those sort of games?

DSlite + The World Ends with You -
    Pros -
        - Lots of great games available
        - It will provide long-term enjoyment
        - The World Ends with you has received great reviews
    Cons -
        - Might not be worth it if you already own a fat.
        - You'll need to save up more money

Mario Kart Wii -
    Pros -
        - You'd be able to get it right away
        - It's received great reviews
    Cons -
        - You probably won't play it as much as a DSlite
        - You might prefer the games available on the DS more than it

I guess I can't decide for you, but I'd personally get a DSlite and The World Ends with you.

That's a hard decision. Mario Kart Wii costs $49.99 and a DSlite with that game will probably cost around $200. I would say both except you'd probably need some more money. I guess I'd say Mario Kart Wii. :-\

I don't really have the money to buy both :/. It's one or either. I think a DS Lite is the way to go though. So I can finish up Advance Wars and FF3 :). My old DS Broke you see. And Swiftu, don't be a hater

What about reviews? It's only got good reviews by the major sites. The fan response has been great as well. The gameplay looks great.

The same can be said about both titles. What if Mario Kart Wii just isn't fun after a while huh?

I would strongly reccomend the DS path, as FF3,Advance Wars, Phantom Hourglass,Sonic Rush and loads more good games are out/coming out on it, whereas Mario Kart wii is just one good game.
If you get the chance though, get both.

I know. I own every title you listed :p. Well, Days of Ruin atleast. Well.
I've already decided to go with a new DS :). This would have been an easier choice had I not bought a new MP3 player 2 weeks ago. But yeah.

And the reason I can afford games is because I get 1050 SEK a month for attending school :p. (Except July August)

Go for the DS, TWEWY is a pretty good game from what little I've played(the intro  :-\) and everything I've read about it sounds great.  But even if you don't like TWEWY, the DS has a ton of good games, games like Kirby: Canvas Curse(I love it so much!!).

I know. I have a DS  XD. It's just broken. The upper screen is destroyed. Picking up TWEWY tomorrow and then saving some money to afford a Lite :)
