Really? I did not know that.

Not that I'll be getting a PS3 anytime soon, mind you, but still.

Unless I'm mistaken, it's the system that is region free or region locked; the games are just coded for each region, be it PAL, NTSC, or whatever. If a system can play a game from another region, it can play games from any region.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, FISSURE.

So, lets say you Get Europe TP when you live in Australia, then you also need a Europe Wii for it?

I'm pretty sure they're all not region locked

I think that's true, not 100% sure lol. All i know is that the ps3 is region free, although i think i heard there are a few region free 360 games, not sure how true that is though.

So, lets say you Get Europe TP when you live in Australia, then you also need a Europe Wii for it?

I assumed Australia and Europe used the same consoles, i'm not good with countries or whatever.

Wii has two regions based on the formats of PAL and NTSC, so it's either one of those categories.
PS3 is region free for its games currently, although blurays can be region locked. Also, DLC won't work unless it's bought from the same country store as the game, so I guess there is some kind of region verification in there somewhere.
The majority of 360 games are locked to regions the same as DVD, although a very small number are region free. However these still need to be either PAL/NTSC.

^ there's pretty much a whole page of stuff here that's unrelated to the topic. Let's try to stay on topic, shall we?

IMO, the only "Zelda" games that are worse than PH and ST are the CD-i games. :P Then again, I haven't played that Tingle game thing... I hate Tingle so much. ಥ_ಥ (< even East Asia cries because of Tingle)
Your forgetting about BS zelda.

Actually, I did not forget BS Zelda; I think BS Zelda looks more interesting. But, to be fair, I never had a chance to actually play the game (since you can now only play it as a hacked ROM). Yes, Spirit Tracks was just that unkind to me. :P

How in the world was BS Zelda worse than the CD-I games? I can't even see PH being worse than the CD-I games really, but BS Zelda is a big step up from PH and ST in terms of enjoyment.

-->SUBJECT: TINGLE

I'm european, so for some unknown, cultural reason, I like Tingle. I have no idea why. Someone said that the japanese like Tingle because he is a typical japanese sterotype character often appearing in comical series, while the reason for why europeans like tingle is because they are patient (one has to be to deal with his greed and oddness) and have a twisted sense of humor. I wonder if it's true?

I like the Tingle RPG because of the graphics, the details and the sidequests. The graphics are AWESOME! And there are a HUGE amount of really amusing characters. I like :D It would be fun f they'd translate the next Tingle game that's centered around love and dating, it might be offering quite the amount of laughs, at least for us female gamers... ^___^

I've always liked Tingle.

One thing people complain about that I think is odd is that you have to pay him a bunch of rupees in WW to decipher maps…  What else are you going to do with all your rupees?  Paying to decipher sea charts is the only big expense in the game, and people get mad like they need the rupees for something else.

Wait a second, how did we get on the subject of Tingle?

Frankly, I have felt ripped off after OoT.  I only enjoyed MC so the money.
I can't really stand childish themes and recycled material.
I cannot get into PH nor ST since there is no D-Pad option.
TP had potential to be good...it just felt drawn out and a rehash.

its Azure Kite / Tri Edge from .heck// gu

the dot in the name has only to do with him because of the series "."(dot)heck//

there is a yue but he is reserved for my original RPG that i will never really finish because of my problem with animations -.-

I agree with that. I personally find Tingle strange and amusing. Plus, it's fun to shoot him down in Melee.

Also, I'm gonna try to remedy the situation here... Because of this:
