I'm glad that you ask.
Emma was - in the first place - a doll that I came up with out of boredom. Her name is made by the description "Emo", as I created a liking for that emo-stuff back then. Here's a JPG'd (!) version of the Emma-doll (not the first one ever but in her pretty early looks:)
She's a doll who lost her right (!) eye, with her mouth being sewed, and a rope coming out from somewhere of her body.
Still she's smiling, which should make you think.
Then I thought about Emma being drawn as a human (as far as it was possible for my drawings.)
Back then, me and some other people liked how it turned out, but now I think it is crappy as hell.
Then I improved my skills and made up my own style, combined by some stuff I was seeing, and then I ended up in let her look like that:
Since I'm still not good at keeping the lines, she always looks a bit different.
Then there is still good ol' Ingrid. At first she was called Skully, but that was pretty unfair for a name, as Emma has this cool old-lady-name.
Ingrid was also invented in the doll-state, but I didn't drew her too much. She's sort of the pendant to Emma, in much things. Sadly I only have this pic by her done.
So similar yet so different. I try to get a better pic done.
As for Emmas story... I decided to go by two. The first one is...
... Emma is a girl, being raised by nobody, thus she never learned what we consider to be right or wrong. So she doesn't know about that, and she don't mind doing "wrong" things.
Yeah, she has that knife and that blood everywhere... still smiling. Kind of sick, kind of cute.
The second one is her, being an average girl. Haha. Yeah, just like in my avatar.
I hope that gave you answers, if there are more questions, feel free to ask.
