It's hard to notice his eyes and mouth, which makes it bad for emoticons, sorry, and the hair and face size don't look very well...

Pretty decent, and as already stated the eyes are a little beady. Lowering the eyes or just naking them bigger might help. I love how Link's head reminds me of a marshmellow.

They look good but the head should be bigger because I can't see almost the emotion!

hmm they're good sprites but very hard to tell the emotions - they look realistic but as Shigsy said, it's better to be over-the-top and show the emotion than just do something realistic and boring...or something

I don't really like the colors or the size at all. Emoticons need to be bigger than that to show emotion, or at least have bigger faces. Here's some I made WAY back:



They aren't that good, but the point is they're bigger so they show emotion better. Of course, they would be even better if I ditched the anime eyes and emphasized the eyebrows more.
