Have you played the same game i have...it doesn't really seem like it. The aiming is amazing. I don't care about the other stuff. They're basically even except that the wii version has better targeting

You really shouldn't vote unless you have played both the Gamecube and Wii version.
Most people have probably only played one, and they think the one they played is the best since they can't imagine how it would be playing it with the other consoles controls.

I voted based on owning both versions (got impatient waiting for my Wii :P). In my opinion, the Wii version is better based on the controls.

I like the Wii version because it was the first game I got with my Wii for the intention of actually using the Wii controls.  The GameCube version would be nice because I have an Action Replay, but overall, I was getting a Wii so I was going to get a game in the Wii format regardless of what it was originally meant for.  I have always liked shooting arrows in Zelda games, and the Wii allows me to do that better.  My only regret is that they made Link right-handed in it when they could have just left him using his left.  I mean, it does not take that much energy to swing the remote and the experience would be more authentic.

Having played both versions and owning the GC one, I can safely say I enjoyed the GC version more. The Wii controls are a little bit too sensitive for my tastes, but if you can deal with that I guess it won't matter. The games are graphically identical aside from the Wii version having 16:9 support, though I have noticed occasional but irrelevant slowdown in the GC version of the game.

It's Zelda, dude. It's gonna kick ass no matter what console it's on :P

Me = Owns both

But seriously get the Wii Version it's loads more fun. (I barely play GCN TP)

Also I never have any glitches with either game unless I want them to 0.o (got Link to fly about 40 feet into the air inside the Lakebed Temple)

Also the double/clawshot looks odd on the GCN version like Link sprained his wrist/s o.0

Definately get gamecube version:  The whole world isn't reversed, and you don't have to play with dumb wii controls.  The only advantage to the Wii version for me was Widescreen.

Uhm, I think they reversed the Gamecube version when they decided to start developing it for the Wii.

I'd get the Wii version. The controls are really good.
I agree, I've played it on both and I like it for the Wii better. :)

I'm sorry to say that no, you can't use the Wii controls with the GC version, even if you are playing it on a Wii.  I guess it really comes down to how bad you want to play the game, and how long it will be until you get a Wii.  You won't miss out on any extra parts or anything, because really, its exactly the same.  Either way it's a fantastic experience.  The controls are great no matter which version you get, they're just different.

My EB actually had a used Cube TP for sale yesterday. I was tempted to buy it after the Zellers mega sale turned out to be a typo in their flier.

The Wii version is leaps and bounds better than the GCN version. Aiming is much easier and fun in the Wii version, and sword play is way superior. Plus you get a good workout while playing, so that's a plus.
