Title. But please note that I made these back when I was still SolemnGamerForever (almost two years ago), so it says to credit me as SGF. But if you are to use these now, you know that's not the name to credit. Also, if they're not too good, I'm not too experienced as a spriter, so don't be too harsh.

First HUD that was any good. It was good for the rupees, the heart is somewhat inaccurate. Feel free to edit that extra pixel out before using it if you have to.

My first rip of an HUD, from A Link To The Past. If I remember correctly, this is the one I got the most positive criticism for.

A custom rupee and some custom number sprites.

The hearts from OoT, made from scratch. Feel free to mess around with the alpha of the "defense hearts," as I call them (when the fairy near Ganon's Castle increases your defense)

The hearts are the good part of this one. The rest... eh...

And the rupees are the good part of THIS one. The hearts are okay, but you may think them a little inaccurate.

EDIT: Off topic.... YAY, 200 POSTS ^_^

EDIT2: Change of plans, you don't need to credit me for them, as they're old and I don't even use them anymore.

Hey those are good.
I'm afraid I have to disagree. You obviously used circles in Paint, they don't line up exactly, they look wrong... it looks good colorwise, but the lineart is bad. It could also need some anti-aliasing (or maybe dithering?) and shading (especially the rupees). It's a good start though.

They're old and poor enough that I wouldn't bother requesting credit if I were you. Your choice, though.

Hmm... the ruppee's are the worst part of everthing IMO. It just needs some touching up... ah! Here we go:

From original to new. First, the ruppee shouldn't be soo... straight. It needs a little tiny curve in it. Then, the shading was too straight. The went at a \ kind of angle, and shading should almost never ever be that way.

Some advice on choosing colors: Don't use really green greens... it's just very unnatural. Try making it a little bit more yellow. And use a little more color. I'm not saying go freakin' overboard with colors kinda' like me, i'm just saying use maye 2 shades or so more. Even just 1 shade could drastically improve.

Then I did a little bit of AAing, then alot more in the later steps. Also if its a hud element, white outlines make everything look a little better. Just some more tips  :)

I don't know... it looks more like a pebble/stone now... but whatever. The princinples are their.

The thing you should work on the most, are the colors.
To be honest, the colors are quite horrible. First of all, too much contrast and too bright colors.
The concepts are nice, but you should work more on the colors and shading.
