Why are manhole covers round?

It's so that the lids can't be dropped into the holes. The circle is the only shape that can accomplish this.

Oh, wait. Damn. Now I'm gonna be shot.

Except the answer I was thinking of is because manholes themselves are round.

How bout this, how do you fit 10 horses in 9 stalls?

As if "drug" is a word used in that context.

Somebody has never seen "Garfield and Friends" then. That's like his catch phrase "whoever **** should be drug out into the street and shot". Kind of morbid for a children's cartoon but I love it.

You are in a room that is completly bricked in on all four sides, including the ceiling and floor. You have nothing but a mirror and a wooden table in the room with you. How do you get out?

Not quite the answer i was thinking of but yeh that would work.

You look in the mirror you see what you saw, you take the saw and you cut the table in half, two halfs make a whole, and you climb out the hole.

Let me find a better one <_<.
