Snakes on a Plane

I'm curious is anybody else REALLY EXCITED for this? It sounds soooo awesome. It's got Snakes...and they're on a plane. And no, I'm not being sarcastic, this is honestly one of the best ideas for an action/thriller ever.

August is soooo far away.

It's called Snakes on a Plane...it's not like anybody expects logic. I just want to see Samual L. Jackson fight the snakes (on the plane).

Ell, some people just don't get it. This movie will be good because it's so crazy and off the wall (I hope). Look at Slither, that's a perfect example.

It's just... some people look for logic in a movie. So far I fail to find any in this one.  :-X

Not only does it have kick ass advertisement in the form of internet memes/fads, but the title tells you what you're going to watch. Not like most movies which have some bizarre title that has little or nothing to do with the movie. I'm totally waiting 3 days before it comes out in line, in costume.

Better yet I heard that they went back and reshot even more violence to go in it! Like usually they CUT it out so this is especially cool.

Ah but don't get confused, I doubt it will be terrible as much as it will be campy. I'm what you'd call a bad movie fanatic and I know for a fact that there's a big difference.

Isnt Slither being advertised as funny, compairing it to shaun of the dead and stuff?

I might go and see snakes on a plane, but honestly, what can happen? Its just going to be one of those films I laugh through :P

I mean, logically, you can't shoot them. You'd shoot through the plane, and the explosive decompression would kill you.

Slither is a horror comedy but I doubt it's in the vein of Shaun of the Dead. It's probably more like Re-Animator and BrainDead where jokes are mixed in with over the top gore and insane situations. Shaun of the dead struck me as an actual character based comedy.

That is true, heard the advert again earlier something like "the best horror comedy since shaun of the dead"... my point was more that its meant to be funny, is snakes on a plane? :P

I don't know, it SEEMS like a serious action movie but how could they not know the concept is completely nuts? Also who would name a serious movie "Snakes on a Plane"?

Oh well, sometimes unintentional comedy is the best comedy, perfect example being that Batman comic where the Joker talks about "pulling a boner". Look it up if you don't know what I'm talking about, it's hilarious.
