Gears of War had a pretty good last mission and ending to that mission, but the very last scene kind of sucked. Maybe Lost Planet... Dunno, I haven't played many games lately.

You can gage the storylines of games you haven't played yet. Incredible.

I think that it will go something like this:

Halo 2: "I need a weapon."
Halo 3: "Now I need some ammo."

Super Paper Mario. They should get them to write the story to all of the Mario games. It's the first time I actually cared about all of the characters. Even the characters who only show up for one chapter.

SPOILERS SUPER PAPER MARIO! COPY AND PASTE TO READ!










I almost cried at the end of the space chapter with Squirp. People who have completed the chapter will know why.

Yeah, that chapter was good, and the whole ending sequence was good, but it just didn't feel epic.

The wasn't exactly "epic", but it was still a great game.

Well, Halo 2's ending sucked. Halo's ending was decnt. Hopefully, since this is the last Halo, it will have a truly epic ending.

The last one that I've played would be MGS3, god that was a great story and a freakishly awesome game 18 thumbs up!.

Yeah, but they worked that story out so brilliantly with the PDA's and the audio logs...granted, there should have been more background info in the game but still. The entire atmoshpere of the game was epic. The amount of work they spent on every single room and area it all looks so real and scary.  XD

The last game that made me feel it was epic, that truly left me stunned, and made me pick my jaw up off the floor after beating it..
Without a doubt, for me, that game would be Kingdom Hearts 2.

!@#$% yeah man. FF9 was amazing. Ive played through it back to back so many times. It always has the same effect on me.
FF10 was great too, but I never felt anything even close during that game (suprisingly) that I did with FF9 and some other games. Most of these epic/emotional rpg titles I played when  I was younger. The only things Ive recently beaten were FF9 and 10. But I know there was a lot more. Suikoden 2, Grandia, and Lunar Eternal Blue were all great, and got me really involved. I seriously got to get hooked up with all those oldies I used to play. There are so many hidden gems that I just can't remember because they were never famous but I have faint memories of them and I miss it lol.

I haven't played any kingdom hearts games yet. I think I am going to have to now.

Aside from some of those that have already been mentioned, I thought that Ico and Shadow of the Colossus felt very "epic".  Their stories/narratives were nearly nonexistent, but at the same time the entirety of both games hold probably the most immersive gameplay experiences I've ever had with any games...ever.

Rogue Galaxy was an epic and awesome game. I enjoyed the story, well, what story that appeared.

Twilight Princess: such a good game, and an awesome story.

Kingdom Hearts 2, awesome story, Awesome Game.

GTA:SA, first GTA game me and my brother beat all the way through.

That's true. I loved the parts where an imp follow you around for a long time making noises and then jumps out at you and when you see zombies come behind you through the mirror.
