Have any of you ever heard of/played Gumboy: Crazy Adventures?  It's a really odd little game, similar to Loco Roco, with some nice hand-drawn visuals and unique physics based gameplay.  If you've never played it do yourself a favor and download the demo here: http://www.gumboycrazyadventures.com/

Tried it yet?  Okay, good.

I think it would be a perfect candidate for a WiiWare title.  It wouldn't take up very much space, it's already sold primarily through a digital download service, (STEAM), and would work great with some slapped on tilt control.  The fact that it's a unique and entertaining game doesn't hurt either.

Thoughts?

I don't know-- those sexy visuals would look SIGNIFIGANTLY better in HD on the 360 than on the Wii... I'd say it would be a better fit for XBLA.  I'd pay for that.

I suppose that's true.  The main reason I mentioned WiiWare is that I think it would work well with motion controls.  Maybe PSN?  Or I guess they could just keep the traditional controls which would still be great.

Actually, it probably would work well on the PSN-- the Sixaxis would probably fit the game nicely.

The Wiimote sideways can make it even more interesting. I never played it, but if there's jumping, you can pop the remote to jump. Actually, that's all I could think of, because I've never played the game...

... Umn, not really. The sixaxis motion is more slapped-on than anything else. Just play the game Lair to see what I mean. The Wii remote has much better control, sensitivity, and is just overall better quality.

But yeah, you'd lose the niceness of HD. I've gone 1080i with an Xbox 360, and it is nice.

I played the demo, it's a very good game. I am considering buying it.
All the physic based stuff works really well. I think things could be explained a little better though, half the time I don't know what I am doing :P
I think it would work very well for Wii Ware/XBLA
