I'd like a quicklink added to the bar above... the one that says
"Home | Help | Unread Posts | Replies | Etc, etc"
Maybe for the shop and for the resource center.
Also, maybe a rupee count near the message "Hello (subjects name here)"
Maybe like "Hello (subjects name here), you have 25.52 rupees today!"
Special Messages:
"Hello (subjects name here), your rupee count is very 1337!"
"Hello (subjects name here)... LOL, you have 1234 rupees!"
"Hello terrorist, you have 9/11 rupees today!"
"Happy birthday, (subjects name here)! Your gift gives you a total of 25.52 rupees!"

That's because most themes have their own index.template.php file, which means each theme has to have it manually put in.  The only reason the Royal Green/Blue theme supports it because it uses the default theme's index.template.php code as a base and then manipulates it to achieve it's appearance (thus eliminating the need for me to make changes when packages are installed).

Unfortunately I don't really have the time atm to do this myself, hopefully someone else will get round to it before I do.
