Spam keys suck. Wasn't the shop to be removed? Oh, wait, SMF 2.0 isn't out yet. Damn.

Actually it is, but we're waiting for the next beta because the theme system is completly different in it, saves us rewriting the themes to many times.

Upgrade will automatically correct theme and language files.

No it won't cb, we have a lot of significant changes in our theme files, stuff that an updater would never be able to compensate for. Not to mention the new template system is a LOT different from the old one, not sure an update would even be possible.

Are you talking about upgrade to the current beta or a future one? Because the SMF 1.1.5 to SMF 2.0 Beta 3.1 Public theme converter works very well, even with heavily modified or entirely custom themes.

If Kirby is around or was around, the theme conversion would be seamless.  In the past he offered to fix everything up and at that time it was daunting as hell at least to all observers, but he made quick work of it.  So is Kirby around to assist you?

Don't worry we can deal with it fine, we would rather just wait than be forced to rewrite the themes twice when we update to the coming release.
