Werehog Sonic looks cool, but everything else sucks, even the story sucks.

The game itself looks cool, I've always wanted a Sonic that went that fast, and a plus is that, unlike the old platformers where you hit many walls, you can use Sonic's leg-eye coordination to keep going. However, werehog mode sucks.

What? Why?

This looks terrible, as soon as Sonic actually slows down, it seems to devolve into some sort of half-assed platformer, and the other times he's running too fast for you to care. I've said it before and I'll say it again, they are long gone from the old 2D games, and I doubt there will ever be another good Sonic game unless it's made by a different company.

Blegh wasn't this game supposed to play like a 2d game with 3d graphics? Why did they scrap that concept?

The first half of the trailer made it look like it had sweet graphics and a non stop speed rush to keep blood pressure high. Then sonic transformed. LOL.

you guys forget the trend with sonic games: they look good originally, and slowly progress to !@#$%. HOPEFULLY though, this one can change that, but I doubt it.

I thought Sonic was all about speed, but when he turns into a wherewolf even a snail moves faster.

Sure they have, get all 7 chaos emeralds, defeat Dr. Robotnic and do it all over again in the many sequels to come. Can't get much more detailed than that. I loved getting Super Sonic (Super Saiyan LOL?) on the Genesis, aha good old days :). Honestly I haven't played any sonic title brought out over the past 12 years(Except sonic advance)?

Maybe they won't force you to play as were-Sonic too much? :/ Who knows?

The boss fights are quite good too. And you have the oldschool "go to hidden stage to get the Chaos Emeralds" stages.

The final boss was kinda hard for me though. :/
