Yeah, this is the version of 1945 that's included with Game Maker... except I got bored one day and edited it to make it look and sound like Starfox. So if you've got time to kill, it's pretty interesting to check out.

It's not a heck but a modification! Anyway it still looks way to much like the original.

You should completely Replace all the 1945 graphics with starfox graphics, whether you make them yourself or not.

I dunno.
Just make it feel more like Starfox.

It's a pretty cool idea though.

yeah, i know i didnt do the backgrounds or anything. i wasnt sure what i would even do.

No? The Game Maker forums used to be full of them back around version 4.3 or so. Anyway it's pretty um... 1945-y I suppose :P Though what I'm not getting is why we appear to be on a planet yet at the same times there's asteroids.

yeah, i didnt really know what else to use. i got the wolfen, but i couldnt really find any other sprites of starfox-ish enemies

and i've never been active on the GM forums. they're all assholes over there.

Hah, I made a Star Fox game from 1945 when I was learning Game Maker. Yours is better though :P.

You could probably take it a few steps further, and have more stages, bosses, alternate routes, power-ups and so fourth. Could end up pretty fun, and not like 1945 at all :P.

That's what happens with edits, it just keeps getting bigger, and bigger then it's a COMPLETELY different type of game, no one would probably notice it's a 1945 mod unless they came to this forum.

But, yeah, I agree with Hoffy, you could take this SOO much further.
