I beleive MiNalien's right, but I don't beleive it's up for debate. 4Sword's proposition isn't THAT hard to live with, and MiN, if you don't want to write, why write several paragraphs worth arguing. It's not as if your reason isn't a good enough reason, your vote will still count even for an, "I like ______ better than _______, because _____#1 appeals to me more," like sentence.
the incomprehensibly small requirement of 1 sentence can either reiterate that sentiment or if a user wants to they can elaborate as to what they liked specifically.
4Sword, nothing is keeping people from elaborating without presenting a "You must give a reason" rule.
This moronic requirement by virtue of its uselessness has ensured that the nominations topic will have posts in it, and because of that it happens to be more visible to all those who haven't voted but might still want to vote.
This topic has enough posts from simply arguing as it is. I don't really care about the sentence requirement, but IMO, this may have gotten a little out of hand.
That will be all.
