Ive tried things like this many times before, and only gotten a result out of it once. nevertheless, good job, its seems as though others can see it.

lol i chose nes sprites cos they were simpler to do, i have to grayscale everything (from black to white depending on the depth) i want it to appear, the simpler the picture the less time it took, link from windwaker was a pain in the ass but to you guys it probably looked like it was just gray and white but finding the right tones to get the picture looking perfect as a stereogram took alot of time and patience..

Ah, well the first two were made using a different and more difficult technique (involving Image displacement and multiple raster layers in PSP) and while those with the ability to see stereogram images easily could spot them they're alittle unclear compared to my others which were made using a much easier technique.

I'm with Skully on this.  It's easy to cross your eyes the right way, but actually figuring out what the image IS is incredibly difficult.  After lego mentioned what it was, I was able to go back and see the details, but when I first looked at it, it just looked like random blobs.

I think the reason is because I'm using the crossing-your-eyes technique, so instead of the picture popping out at me, it caves in, IE the background is in front.

If I was any good at the parallel eyes technique I would try that and compare the two.

EDIT:  just out of curiosity, what would happen if you inverted the colors used in the grayscale image?  Do you think that would swap the foreground and background positions?  It's worth a try.

I get the same thing. Also, I tried making a couple and inverted the grey, and yeah it does flip it around. I've really got to work on the parallel technique.

if you get really close and relax and unfocus your eyes and then pull back if you can keep your eyes unfocused long enough then try to focus once you're about 1 or 2 feet away.

next time i wont write a runon sentence
