	I'd say the best oot 2d would be the one thats most accurate. Personally I didn't find knightmares accurate enough. Logged

Yeah thats right just a few so I think we should be happy if someone actually finished an OOT2D. Knightmare didn't had everything super accurate but some things are hard too translate to 2D and keeping it so accurate as the original. Logged

Theres so many things in which there is no choice, though there are many ways in which to crush conflicting 3d game components into a 2d game, such that it doesnt fit: eg: 2d OOT should play as a 2d zelda game. No 360 degree+140 degree pitching hookshot, no z target influenced movement and yaw (though for speech and object interaction it'd be ok), smaller/more detailed fields etc. However alot of the things can actually be applied very well, with the right tools and some nice ideas and effects. At a lower level (eg direct access to a 3d api) so many things could be represented in 2d really well in realtime, and complimenting actions conveyed to the user.
