More NES, huh.

StarTropics is an excellent action/RPG, apparently not too widely known. But unless they change a certain part of the game, it probably won't be released for the V-Con.

Blaster Master and Captain Skyhawk are two of my faves with cult followings.

Battletoads, Little Nemo, Marble Madness, King's Quest 5, Maniac Mansion, Code Name Viper, Rygar, Bart vs. Space Mutants, and TMNT 3 all kick sizable portions of ass.

Some of my favourite unknown gems are Fantasy Zone, (T&C 2) Thrilla's Surfari, Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, Little Ninja Brothers, and Laser Invasion.

I hope they re-release City Connection just for shits and giggles. Or Total Recall, that was so bad it's funny. Or even Bible Adventures just so this generation can throw Baby Moses in a river, but that would mean they'd have to license those idiots from Wisdom Tree.

It'll probably be impossible, but I'd love to see some homebrew support on the V-Con, so we can play games like Elite, Kart Fighter, Solar Wars, and Grand Theftendo.

I already have NBA Jam :D  And you mentioned Mortal Kombat which made me think... how's Street Fighter? :P  If it's any good, tell me which ones.

And is really only the original Mortal Kombat any good?  Like what about 2 and 3.

Meh, street fighter is ok, but it's overatted comepared to some other games.

Mortal kombat (the original) is amazing. and 3 is ok also, I don't own 2.

Eternal champions is really good! :P

Nope. PSIV sucked balls.

How can you say that? At the very least it's still better than the modern day Phantasy Stars...

True to that. But PSIII & PSII owned PSIV horribly bad.

I never owned a Genesis, but played them with friends and borrowed one for a while back in the day.

Comix Zone, Mega Turrican, Strider, Cyborg Justice, Skitchin', Jurassic Park, Aladdin, and X-Men are all Genesis-exclusive games I remember being pretty good.. Some are also on SNES but they're completely different. NBA Jam is the same as SNES except it has music on Sega. :P

I only saw Streets of Rage 1 on your list... many say that series gets better with the sequels.

You don't seem too confident with those being good or not, so I guess I'll go through all the reviews for them on GameFAQs then...

and I'll add the rest of the Streets of Rage series.

EDIT: Seems like Comix Zone, Mega Turrican, Strider, Cyborg Justice, and Skitchin' are good enough according to GameFAQs readers to qualify for me. :P

EDIT 2: I've also heard the Micro Machines games on the Genesis are good... YES I'M A FAN OF RACING GAMES.  Let's see what GameFAQs says.

EDIT 3: wow, they sound really good!  Added to the list.

Dang, someone beat me to it D:. I own Sega Smash Pack 2 for PC which has that on it, as well as that six in one cartridge with Sonic, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Columns, Revenge of Shinobi - and of course, Super Hang On. That game got around.
