Just a suggestion that I've revived iPods with: Drain the battery completely. Then, once it's dead, try hooking it back up and doing the 'restore factory settings'.
If not, sometimes you'll find someone nice enough in an Apple store who will hook it up and give it a look.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I really don't have the time and patience to do that.
Also I know it's not much, but I'm not paying a dollar to get into the Apple Store just to have them be like "LOLBUYANEWONE"
That's not always their response. I've had friends go in there and they've been helpful. Never been an issue with me though, I've always seemed to figure stuff out own my own.
I've never had a problem with any Apple or iPod stuff. Maybe iPod and iTunes work better on Macs, as all the people who use them on Windows complain about them to no end.
Agreed. Personally, I've been a windows user for years. I'm not a fan of iTunes, but use it because I must, yet have had no issues with it. I love Mac v. PC flamewars, because when it comes down to it, both sides have pros, both sides have cons
