MC sounds - ALL SOUNDS!!! (except for the soundb...

Here they are, ripped by me. It contains all of the sounds in MC, although some sounds like the bomb explosion are not there, simply because they are a mixture of some of the random bangs that are in this. best to use a program like audacity (google it) to just cut out and save the parts of the sound you want.

Please not this does not contain the soundbank samples, and therefore misses out the wolf howling and I think the rain. If you want this though, just PM or e-mail me.
Hope some people can get some use out of it.

dunno... I ripped these ages ago, and I never found any topic with the whole set, so I had to rip my own.

Awww... No instruments? Though that would be MUCH more challenging to rip, mainly because you would need to find the loop points...

I have the samples ripped, if anyone knows a good program to make soundfonts with I'll give it a go.

Oh I don't need a soundfont, I'd be just fine with the samples. But there is a program on this site that allows you to make soundfonts:

I did in fact rip all the Minish Cap sounds a while back, but never mind that since you're trying to contribute and that's super-swell.

Just some advice, the soundbank is originally in 16kHz, so you should keep it as that when you encode to MP3. Right now if anybody uses your file to cut up some sounds, they'll end up with 44.1kHz; almost 3 times the filesize for the same quality.

And that bit about bomb sounds and stuff being made up of various sounds - check out HelpTheWretched's (my) site's notes and you'll see the facts behind that. You've supplied the pre-recorded MC sounds, but many more sounds are made using any of the GBA's four waveform channels (square waves, triangle wave, and noise). I believe bomb sounds are just the noise channel, and not a sample.

what do you mean no instruments? There are samples there. surely I didn't send you the wrong file...
